Swansea Teaching Assistants

Staffroom Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work within Nurseries and Primary and schools in Swansea. All of our roles are temporary and range from day-to-day assignments to ongoing, long-term placements.

Our Schools require Teaching Assistants across all age groups, who are able to provide one-to-one support as well as being involved with small groups. These positions require you to have gained experience in a similar environment; whether that be within Education, Social Care, Youth Leadership, Sports Coaching – or something similar – you will have all the necessary skills required.

What you can expect in the role of a Teaching Assistant:

To work under the guidance of the teacher and assist with the preparation of the classroom before each lesson, as well as tidying/collecting workbooks etc at the end. Working on a one-to-one basis and support reading groups. Possible attendance of school trips and carry out general administrative duties, as directed along with helping to organise wall displays.
